Public Sector Reform Bill in the Upper House
Thursday, 08 July 2010 10:35

SuccessThe Public Sector Reform Bill has now moved from the Lower House and is on the notice paper for the Upper House.

Parliament is currently on their winter break, and will resume on Tuesday August 10. Parliament's notice paper is currently very long, so we're expecting the Bill to be discussed at some point in the August sittings.

The Bill moved to the Upper House on the 25th of June after it's debate on June 23 where several amendements were requested. It has since had its first and second reading in the Upper House, and the next step is for it to be debated.

For more details about the amendments, read the article Success in the Lower House.
