The Role

The Coordinator, Community Engagement and Communications plays a central strategic role in developing integrated online and offline mobilisation strategies across the organisation. It is responsible for coordinating, delivering and evaluating our community engagement and communications strategies and tactics.  The role is responsible for organising people to advocate for our vision for quality public services and good government.

The role focuses on engaging and mobilising our community and stakeholders to participate in activity aligned with CPSU/CSA’s vision and campaign goals, through ongoing local and relational activity that sustains engagement. 

Your Skills

Do you have experience in strategy development for social change campaigns and a track record in engaging and mobilising people to act? Are you tertiary qualified with experience using digital engagement tools, CRMs and content management systems and can quickly learn, test and troubleshoot new tools? Are you creative and innovative and able to work autonomously to lead projects to agreed outcomes? Do you have experience in political and media engagement?
