Social Media House Rules
We think Facebook is a fantastic way to stay in touch with our members and other likeminded people. It's also a great way for you to keep up to date with the latest news and have a conversation with us, as well as your fellow members. In saying that, we have just a few house rules for all of us to keep in mind when engaging in our social media activity.
Mind your language
This is an all-ages community, so please don’t be rude or offensive. This includes comments that are indecent, profane or vulgar.
We like keeping things positive here. Don’t pick on others, and it's a big 'no' to threats and personal attacks – including posts that are defamatory.
Don’t include any personal or sensitive information on our Facebook wall or in a group (like your address or phone number). For member-specific enquiries, please Contact Us via our official online form, or phone 1300 733 80 to talk to a Union representative.
Please don’t post ads on our page(s). This includes posts that promote or endorse other products and services, or are excessively repetitive.
Blocking Facebook Group Admins is not allowed. You will be removed from the group if you block any Administrator or Moderator.
If something gets posted that goes against the house rules, we’re going to have to take it down – in the case of repeat offenses, we’ll take action to block offenders from the page out of respect for other users. We will also remove posts containing misleading, inaccurate or inappropriate statements about the CPSU/CSA, our services and our people.
We love your comments, so please keep it ‘family friendly’ so our moderators won’t have to, well, moderate.
