Hello and welcome!

The Living Smart Union program supports Union members and their families in living and working more sustainably. It does this through delivering Living Smart courses and activities to members and their families. Our Go Green @ Work Network also connects members and public sector workers who are passionate about reducing energy use, water use and waste in WA public sector workplaces.

Over 2400 people so far have taken part in reducing their energy use and waste, promoting alternative transport, growing food, taking active roles in community sustainability groups, making/using green cleaning products and, above all, recognising and fostering their personal leadership offering at home, in community and at work.

The program has also been a catalyst in workplaces to bring people together around shared values and interests. Strong, effective partnerships are a critical part of Living Smart Union’s success. Living Smart Union is a partnership with Be Living Smart Inc. Be Living Smart Inc is a multi-award winning behaviour change program. Be Living Smart began as a partnership between local government, Murdoch University and the community and since 2011 has been a membership-based incorporated association.

This year we have high hopes for pavlovas, chicken and seafood sprinkled with these gorgeous pearls bursting with flavour.  Throw them on to some stir fried king prawns for simple foody bliss. The fingerlimes are part of our family’s growing bush tucker garden.
