government accused of double standards on public service domestic violence leave
A plea from the Human Rights Commission for the Coalition government to relent on its hard line on specific domestic violence leave for public servants has been rejected.
Minister for women Michaelia Cash has told the Commission that public servants have enough access to leave if they are victims of abuse in the home and that no changes to the government's tough bargaining stance would be made, Commission staff have been told.

labor says aborted city link land sale will lead to 'sterile missed opportunity'
The state government's desire to develop major city projects simultaneously has been blamed for the collapse of its deal with Mirvac to develop key land sites for the $5.3 billion Perth City Link project.
The failure is the latest major blow for the grand WA development from the horseshoe bridge to Perth Arena and further evidence of the Barnett government's mismanagement of key state projects, the Opposition says.
