These boots were made for working — WorkSafe petition to be presented

The Save Our Services video campaign to prevent the loss of ten WorkSafe inspectors has been gaining momentum over recent weeks, thanks to the support of an online petition and generous donations.

The campaign is set to turn up a notch this week when the petition, containing more than 1,000 signatures, is presented at a media conference at Parliament House — and you're invited to be there, boots and all. 

WorkSafe event

All CPSU/CSA members and the general public are invited to be there for the presentation of the petition. You're also encouraged to bring a pair of work boots which will be placed on the steps of parliament, to symbolise the loss of funding for ten WorkSafe inspectors.
