Dental Officers Agreement registered

The Dental Officers Agreement was registered on 15 January 2014 and the new changes to dentist work practices need to be taken up if they haven't already.

As part of the new agreement, dentists are required to work an extra 6 minutes per day and there are also changes for new dentist staff members which includes a longer long service leave accrual period and the removal of their PSH days in lieu.

The Department has also agreed to backdate dentist wage increases to 2 December 2013 - another win! Good work to everyone involved.
