GA6 progress
Why is it taking a while?
During this time we have been methodically checking all of the GA6 documents to ensure the wording is correct and that the clauses work correctly in conjunction with each other. This is necessary to prevent any unintended negative changes to your wages and conditions.
Following this, each of the General Agreements that are negotiated as a part of GA6 need to be signed off by the relevant Director Generals, then lodged with the WA Industrial Relations Commission for registration.
When will I get my increase/back pay?
Once the Agreements are signed and lodged with the Commission, we envisage it will be dealt with promptly. We are working to resolve this matter as quickly as possible; but there are no guaranteed timeframes, largely because there are several parties involved and there is also a possibility of unforseen delay. Pay rises will follow shortly after the registration of the General Agreements.
Regardless of the date of registration, all members covered by the General Agreements will be backpaid to the 13th of June 2014
Where can I find the new rates of pay?
You can find them online via cpsucsa.org/ga6-pay
