Campaign Update 24 February: We're Still Waiting Colin
Four clauses were presented and taken by Commerce for consideration and response. Cultural and Ceremonial Leave and Flexible Working Arrangements were put forward. Our champions, Phil Goulding and Andrea Davis, gave evidence for Workload and Bereavement Leave which were also put to Commerce for review. Phil has told us about how excessive workload has affected the Department for Agriculture and Food on The Journal.
Commerce raised the potential administrative burden attached to some of our claim items, which we believe will be minimal, but other than this have not indicated support or otherwise for our proposals.
On Wednesday, 8 March we will be presenting clauses for superannuation and reclassification, as well as finalising the specialist agreements. Out of session we will be discussing insurance, consultation processes and securing Your Union Agreement clauses into your Award.
We will again write to Colin Barnett, this time as the Leader of the Liberal Party rather than as Premier, to ask for a response to our claim, caretaker mode and back pay.
Your voice to our call for a response from Colin Barnett by signing, circulating and returning our downloadable petition.
