THE ROLE:

The Digital Engagement Specialist within the Communications and Engagement team manages the union's online community and digital properties; creates and distributes valuable, relevant and engaging content to retain and activate existing members, and attract prospective members to the union.

You will be responsible for deploying and improving the union's digital marketing and engagement practices and projects to achieve the union's strategic objectives.

  • Experience in digital communications and content creation;
  • Understanding of digital engagement strategies, content analysis, SEO practices, CMS platforms and digital best practice; and 
  • Strong communication and time management skills.

An attitude and ability to work in a team environment will be addressed in the interview. An interest in Unions or experience in the WA Public Sector and/or Union movement would be considered favourably.
