Union support and workplace advice when you need it
Union membership equips you with the knowledge and tools to build collective power in your workplace, and most importantly; win on issues that affect you and your colleagues.
On top of that, CPSU/CSA members can access several avenues of online and in-person support, including:

Experiencing Bullying and Harassment?
Bullying at work can be defined as repeated, unreasonable or inappropriate behaviour directed towards a worker, or group of workers, that creates a risk to health and safety.
We encourage members to speak with their workplace delegates and take a look at many of the resources offered on our CPSU/CSA Bullying Hub.
For additional support, members can contact UnionLink on (08) 9323 3800.

What should I do if I receive a letter alleging a Breach of Discipline?
This is a serious matter. Members should contact UnionLink UnionLink on (08) 9323 3800 immediately to arrange for advice.
The Union will also consider industrial representation for these types of matters depending on our Membership Qualification Policy and ISG’s Representation Letter.
It is important that you contact the UnionLink Team as soon as you can. It is also advisable to not provide any responses to your employer about the alleged breach of discipline until you have sought advice from the Union.

What is the Legal Benefits Scheme (LBS)?
The Legal Benefits Scheme (LBS) will provide eligible Union members access to subsidised legal services, offered by Slater & Gordon.
Eligible members may access the LBS if they are being investigated as a result of their employment and criminal charges may be laid and neither their employer, nor any other public sector entity, is providing financial assistance or otherwise for legal representation.
The LBS is a new addition to the legal benefits already offered to members through Slater & Gordon, which include a free 45-minute consultation and discounted legal services.
