This outcome is a testament to the dedication of members and the strength of our union collective. The gains made in this Agreement have been hard-fought by Main Roads members and put those covered by the new agreement in a better position to afford to live and live a good life.

The Union's Industrial Team has begun the process of drafting and finalising the new provisions for inclusion in the Main Roads Agreement and checking the full replacement Agreement to ensure it is accurate. The Agreement will then be signed by the parties and the paperwork completed for lodgement. The lodgement is the responsibility of GSLR.

Arrangements to increase salaries and back pay to 1 February 2024 will be initiated when the new Agreement is registered by the WA Industrial Relations Commission (WAIRC). Control of this rests with the WAIRC, not members’ Union or their employer, and the final registration date will be dependent on the WAIRC’s workload.

The CPSU/CSA will continue to keep members updated on the latest developments as we progress towards finalising and registering the Main Roads CSA Enterprise Agreement 2024.
