My Member Profile and Workplace Changes

Public Sector Reform 2025 - My Member Profile and Workplace Changes

1. I’ve relocated as part of Government’s Public Sector Reform (PSR). My agency is now incorrect on my member portal profile. How do I update it?

To update your agency details please email [email protected].

In your email, please include the following details:

  • Your Full Name
  • Your Member ID (Your member number can be found at the top of your union emails)
  • Your new agency or department
  • Unit or work team
  • Work address
  • Work telephone
  • Specify if it is a newly created team/ you have moved teams or worksites/ it is a change of name for an existing team.
  • New work email and/or a personal email
  • Tell us if you are a current Delegate or Deputy Delegate (as changes to agency structures may impact your Delegate role and the members under your coverage).

The more information you provide us about your new agency and workplace, the easier it is for us to update your details on our records.

Please note: Due to the Public Sector Reform, we are currently receiving a higher-than-normal number of workplace change requests. As a result, there may be delays in actioning your workplace details change request.

2. I’ve relocated as part of Government’s Public Sector Reform and provided my new work details to [email protected]. Why haven’t the ‘Workplace Details’ on my member profile been updated to reflect my new workplace yet?

You may notice that after submitting a workplace details change request, your agency may be updated, but the Workplace Electorate and Worksite details may not appear exactly as you have provided them to us. For example, the Workplace Electorate and Worksite details on your member profile may:

  • Remain unchanged for an extended period.
  • Be updated to include ‘Worksite Not Known’.
  • Be changed to a name that is slightly different from the details you have provided.

As the Reform progresses and details of new worksites, workplace electorates, teams and structures emerge, your union is working hard to review PSR members’ workplace change requests to thoroughly and correctly map members within their new agency structures. Government’s Stage 2 Reform process timeline (30 June 2025 – 1 March 2026) also includes multiple stages of consultation and review it is possible that agency, workplace and team structures for members affected by the Reform may be subject to further change before transitions are wholly finalised as of 1 March 2026.

For these reasons, your workplace details may appear different, as per the above example, and may not be finalised until Government’s Stage 2 Critical Path timeline concludes.

Rest assured that following the conclusion of Government’s Stage 2 Critical Path in 2026, your union will undertake a full review of all PSR agency Worksites and Workplace electorates to finalise outstanding changes and update members’ details to reflect their correct details.

We thank members in advance for their patience and understanding as we navigate this transition period together.

3. Do I need to email [email protected] to update my work email address if I have changed agency/ department?

Although changes to your workplace details need to be actioned by our Membership Administration team, your CPSU/CSA Member Portal gives you the power to update many of your other personal details, including: your preferred email, home address, contact phone numbers, your occupation title, and more!

Keeping the details on your member profile up to date ensures that you never miss out on important updates or key communications related to your agency or work area. It also allows our Unionlink team to provide you with accurate support and guidance when you need it.

Check out our Member Portal FAQs to learn more about your portal features or log into your portal now to start updating your details.
