1. How will affected staff be supported and have a voice in this process?

Supporting members through times of change is core business for unions. CPSU/CSA members will have access to advice, resources and support that prioritises the rights, entitlements and concerns of members, not the employer. It is critical that workers in affected departments join now to ensure they can access resources and support as changes start to flow through Departments from 1 July 2025.

New members will have immediate access to members-only resources and communications, with access to advice through our Industrial Services Groups, if required, after the qualification period has been met (3 months). Members who join in April 2025 will have the advantage of being through the qualification period as the changes come into effect across government in July, giving you full access to all union benefits.
